Headshot Mini Sessions are the perfect opportunity to add a look to your portfolio or update your LinkedIn profile. You won’t believe what you can accomplish in 30 minutes! Here’s what you get for $199:

We ask that you arrive at least 10-muintes early so as not to delay your session time. Should you miss your window, please let our staff know and we will squeeze you in during an available time slot.

Where does the shoot take place?
All mini sessions take place at Crystal Coworks office. Cool bottles of water and air conditioning will make sure that you look your best. The office is located at 363 N. Sam Houston Parkway E. Suite 650
What comes with my session?
Included in your small but mighty session is a twenty-minute, one look photo shoot and ordering session. This is perfect to get one, targeted look to update your website, LinkedIn, or other social media sites. Have a specific idea of what you need before you come in and you will get the most out of it. After the session you will immediately see and select your favorite image to be retouched and delivered to you within 2-3 business days. At that time you will also have the opportunity to purchase additional retouched images at a $150 per image (or 3 additional retouched images for $400, 5 retouched images for $600, or the entire unretouched gallery for $899). We don’t offer online galleries for mini-sessions (unless purchased during your ordering session), so be ready to choose your image the day of your session.
What about hair and makeup?
We always recommend that you consider professional hair and makeup for any session, no matter the size. Because of the back-to-back nature of the mini sessions event, we are unable to accommodate hair and makeup artists on-site prior to your session. Make sure to have your hair and makeup completely done when you arrive, there won’t be time or space to do it. If you are looking to have a professional provide you with fantastic hair and makeup for your shoot, email us for a list of local pros we recommend.
What should I wear?
This part is totally up to you, but we have some recommendations:
- Steer clear of white tops. The eye is always drawn to the brightest thing in the image. For your headshot, we want that to be your face.
- Choose colors that complement your natural coloring. Muted, solid colors are best, leave the neon clothes at home.
- Avoid anything with busy patterns or shiny materials. It’s all about your face, your expression, not the clothes.
- Bring something extra to grab a quick second look. A cool jacket, a pair of glasses, something you can throw on real quick and add a little zing to your shot.
- Make sure you come wearing the clothes you will be photographed in. There won’t be time to sort through loads of selections. Bring one backup top if you are having trouble deciding.
- Your bottom half will not be in the photo so wear whatever is comfortable for you. Heads and shoulders only.
- Jewelry is not recommended. If you have simple studs in your ears or a very simple necklace, that’s fine, but leave the funky and chunky pieces at home.
- Sessions are back-to-back and if you run late or long because you planned wardrobe changes, you will be taking time from someone else.
- If you are unsure, text us a photo of you in what you plan to wear to 281-844-6084, we will be happy to give you some guidance.
- Make sure your clothes are clean and pressed with no branded logos. We don’t retouch out logos and wrinkles.
What else do I need to get ready?
If you have gone through all these questions, you should be pretty much ready to go. Here are a few last minute things to remember before your session:
- Plan to arrive ten minutes early. If you are late, you will probably lose your spot. There are no refunds and no rescheduling if you are late. Be on time, be prepared and it will be awesome.
- If you are wearing makeup, make sure to bring your powder with you when you come. The camera and lights often require a little more foundation than you might be used to wearing and it only takes a second to cut the shine down.
- Don’t get your hair cut within 48 hours of the shoot. Give your noggin a couple of days to recover from your new “do” before you put that bad boy on camera.
- Don’t make any drastic changes to your appearance right before the session. You are going to be setting yourself up for disappointment. Your headshot should look like you plan to show up for auditions so don’t go overboard.
- Get a good night’s rest before the session and avoid drinking alcohol or eating salty foods for 24-48 hours ahead of time. Being tired, hungover, and full of fried food can make you look puffy and blotchy. Rest, drink lots of water, and come ready to knock it out of the park.

Mini Session Terms & Conditions:
- ✔ Non-Refundable Sessions: All Mini Session slots are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend your selected time slot, the amount can be used as a credit toward another session.
- ✔ Late Arrivals: If you arrive late, whether or not we can accommodate you will depend on availability.
- ✔ Personal Responsibility: You are responsible for your hair, makeup, and wardrobe. No reshoots or refunds will be issued based on these factors.
- ✔ One Look Per Person: No outfit changes or additional looks will be available during the session.
- ✔ Individual Appointments Only: One person per time slot. Appointments cannot be shared.
- ✔ Image Delivery: DNB Productions will deliver included retouched images and any additional retouched images ordered within 3-5 business days.
- ✔ Liability Disclaimer: DNB Productions is not responsible for lost or stolen items, acts of God, or any circumstances that prevent attendance.
- ✔ Usage Rights: By agreeing to these terms, you are granted a usage license for personal and professional use, including websites, social media, and personal printing. DNB Productions retains ownership of the images.
- ✔ Marketing & Promotion: This agreement allows DNB Productions to use images for marketing, promotion, education, and internal training. Your image will not be resold or used for external commercial purposes without your permission.

All Mini Session slots are non-refundable. If, for some reason, you are unable to attend your selected time slot, you can use the amount as a credit towards another session.
If you are late for your time slot, whether or not we can photograph you will be based on availability.
You are responsible for your hair, makeup, and wardrobe. No reshoots or refunds will be available based on those factors.
One look per person, no changes or additional looks will be available.
One person per time slot. No sharing appointments with others.
DNB Productions will deliver included retouched images and any additional retouched images ordered by you within 3-5 business days.
DNB Productions is not responsible for lost or stolen items, acts of God, or any circumstances that would keep you from attending this event.
By agreeing to these terms you are granted a usage license to any images purchased for the personal and professional use including website, social media, and personal printing. DNB Productions will retain the ownership of the images. This agreement releases DNB Productions to use the images for the purposes of marketing, promotion, education, and internal training. Your image will not be resold or used for external commercial purposes without your permission.
